AutoCAD: Beginners (2D)

Learn to utilise the software commands of AutoCAD in order to produce scaled two-dimensional drawings.

During this course, you will:
  • gain basic knowledge of 2D AutoCAD software and how to make practical use of the package in the workplace;
  • learn to generate drawings for the design, construction and manufacturing industries;
  • produce detailed plans and elevations;
  • learn to scale, save and print work;
  • understand how elevations relate to plans;
  • understand how the use of CAD differs from manal drafting.
You will undertake a project-based assignment focusing on the production of plans and elevations using AutoCAD.
This course is due to start in the spring of 2017 and costs £175.
